如果你有机会前往《避风港囧》位于保定徐水县大午集团的拍摄现场探班，看到的一定是这样一副景象，无论导演和编剧每天修改剧本到几点，现场实拍时，都会因为演员的各种即兴发挥而“作废”。而且，因为所有演员都为这部戏做了充分的准备，有的人甚至为一个笑点准备了三种以上的演法，导致每天的拍摄都无法按时结束，有时候连着几天拍摄到凌晨，让导演“十分崩溃”。当然，有时候演员也是完全无心的，都是因为笑点太好笑，才会陷入笑场的死循环。此时，导演必须想尽方法才能让演员“冷静”下来，《避风港囧》的爆笑程度，可见一斑。
